I'm not going to say much about it.  the Internet has been a fascinating thing to me since I first started browsing using Lynx (text only) circa 1992 or 3.  There's a lot of rough to slog through for that diamond, but every now and then someone puts an inordinate amount of time into creating something totally preposterous.  So preposterous you just have to give a nod and a smile in their direction.

Just go check out this site and come back and giggle with me.  That's not too much to ask, is it?  And if you know of other similar things, link em to me here.  I love this kind of stuff.

Hmm. Not sure what to think about that yet.

You want to see something funny? See something funny.

Or, perhaps even funnier.

(I'd just like to point out that normal Mormons don't actually believe this sort of thing.)

That is really intriguing and interestingly weird! Wow!

Just in case the point got missed (not responding to anyone in particular) it isn't the "stuff like Telectroscopes that you find on the Net" that amuses me.  It's the extraordinary lengths people will go to make a ruse look true.  They didn't just stop at making the website with the idea but created an entire detailed backstory for it.

Got give them some credit for web design and creativity

The High Priestess of the Flying Spaghetti Monster approves.

The Church of The Flying Spaghetti Monster is a false religion!!!!!

The Church Of The SubGenius is the one true religion!

WWW Link

Ock, looks like the folks who created that site must be huge fans of the onion.

On a side note, I have always preferred Links to Lynx since it was introduced but remember using Lynx quite a bit back in the day.

Haha...that's a good one Mason.  Ok, everyone do your humor duty and go look if you haven't

I love sites like this, obviously well made and very convincing.  I wonder how many people actually believe the Telectroscope exists?

Thanks for the laugh.
