Blog. I first began hearing about this in relation to people that were tracking developers plans in the video game industry. And honestly, I don't even remember how I got here, but as I look around I am learning what the word means by interacting with it as opposed to my usual method which involves web browsers, search engines, and time I don't have.

It seems to me to be a kind of online diary, and now it's becoming mainstream. Years ago, we used to laugh about writing things on paper, enclosing them in some metal box, and burying them in the ground - perhaps after adding some sorts of trinkets from the time period to go along with it. Whoda thunk it would all change into this? Data time capsules stored on some hard drives whirring about on some server...somewhere. I'd like to say it's fascinating, but come on...technology has outgrown our race so fast, it really isn't anymore, is it?

So, having stumbled in here like some kid that just woke up in a strange house in New Orleans after a two week bender (not that I'd know anything about that), I'm thinking "Why not?" I'll make a blog, and as time allows I'll come in here and spew forth whatever I happen to wish to spew and watch in fascination (or not, as I said) as my thoughts change from analog to digital before my very eyes.

It's fascinating, and it isn't. Regardless, thanks JoeUser. And welcome to my blog, people.

It is a little strange. I never kept any kind of diary all my life but the web always made me want to write a personal log.

I tried long before Blogs were "a thing" just by making my own web page and adding to it as i think of things. But I always wound up tweaking the web page more than writing content. So I come on here where it's all laid out for you already. It's kinda funny though, I enter blog entries, not wanting people to see them, I dont even care of people see them, it's more of a self-defrag, and if someone else finds enjoyment in it, so be it!
